Confirmed: 75 Year Old Mick Jagger Can Still Cut A Fucking Rug
Seventy-five years old and this is what he’s tweeting at 8:03 AM on a Wednesday. It honestly blows my mind. He and Keith have been putting their bodies through the ringer since the SIXTIES and legitimately haven’t slowed down at all. If anything they’ve sped up. It’s like they made a deal with the devil. They’ve smoked hundreds of thousands of cigarettes and taken more drugs than almost anyone on earth yet somehow they’re still perfectly fine. Mick still gets up early to practice his moves in the mirror and Keith still sleeps late then starts drinking.
I guess the second you slow down it’s all over, which is why they never stopped. Especially Mick. He’s so committed to maintaining his imagine that he’s starting to put stuff on social media. Ten-thousand retweets and fifty-thousand likes on that video so far.
I’ve been in a deep dive on the Stones ever since I watched their documentary, Olé Olé Olé: A Trip Across Latin America, a few weeks ago. I highly suggest you check it out if you haven’t already seen it yet. It’s basically two hours of Mick and Keith shooting the shit and dancing in the mirror like he did in his tweet. Regardless, he’s my new favorite follow.
